Description: Extremely rare away roundneck shirt as worn when Bruce Rioch’s side finished 5th in the Premier League and made it to the Semi-Final of the Coca-Cola Cup.
Roundneck version was famously used by Ian Wright who started cutting the original collar from the shirt. Shortly after he was called in by then vice-chairman David Dein. He showed him hundreds of letters from worried parents saying that their kids took scissors to shirts trying to replicate Wrighty’s style. Ian would carry on doing that until Nike actually started producing an official roundneck replica in limited issues.
Features: Original style print for the legendary striker Ian Wright #8, Premier League sleeve patches.
Condition: Bright colours, badges are stitched, sponsor is great, print and patches are superb, nice material feel with a light bobbling to the front and a couple of tiny pulls. Great wearable/collectible condition (8/10).
