MANCHESTER UNITED 1992/1994 THIRD SHIRT

Description: Rare authentic (not newly made) green and gold lace-neck shirt based on the version worn 100 years earlier when Manchester United were known as Newton Heath. Once the team became independent from the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway and lost ties from its origins in Newton Heath, the team was renamed Manchester United and changed colours to red and white. The 1992 third shirt by Umbro nods to origins of United and was worn during the League Cup final against Villa.

Condition: Bright colours, badges are stitched, nice material feel with just a couple of tiny bobbles, raised embossed sponsor is superb, original lace. Excellent wearable/collectible condition (8/10).
